The interior of your pipes or your drains can be examined through a process called "drain camera inspection". A thin ridged rod like structure with a small camera at the end of it, gets fed through your drain which is closest to the area causing the problem and a video is recorded, showing you what specifically is going on in your pipes and what's causing that problem.
