BENCHING

​   Basement Benching is a similar project to underpinning however it is less costly and can be completed in a shorter time frame.
           Benching – and the name pretty much describes the entire job, creates a bench-like frame around your basement’s new foundation floor. This space can now be used for book shelf storage, or other uses which might be handy for you. But do keep in mind that if your main cause for underpinning/benching is to expand your basement into livable space, then benching is not such a good idea.
